Obviously the weather gods got confused and gave us a wee bit of snow around the first of the month. :P

I wasn't about to let this oportunity to get snow shots to slide by. Called my friend and fellow photog Jim and headed into the Park and surrounding areas, snapping away as much as I could.

We had a wee bit of snow and ice on Feb. 24, which is exactly one month before my b'day. I'm hoping the snow gods will get confused again and give me snow on my b'day. I deserve something for turning a half-century, damnit! :P

Thanks! I particularly love the shot of the oily water flowing through the pavement of a parking lot. The colors are fab. I'm sure ppl watching me pointing my camera at the ground and shooting away thought I was nuts. :)

That damned wee bird, while beautiful, was sooo sneaky. Every time I'd be close to getting a fantastic shot of him, he'd move behind a limb so I couldn't see him. :P
